I’ll tell you now of some of them I know And those I miss you’ll surely pardon Daffodils, heart’s ease and flocks Meadowsweet and lilies, stocks Gentle lupins and tall hollyhocks Roses, foxgloves, snowdrops and forget-me-nots In an English country garden How many insects build their homes In an …

thats not funny its a really good song and all you care about is swearing u dont care about this song or the world hes trying to make the world a better place
There was also another verson, go’s like pick up a leaf and wipe your underneath and stuff Lol! trying to find the lyrics to wright in a funny card for my father for a laugh! :L
There was another send up version of this in the 60′s where the guy referred to cement mixers at the bottom of the garden.
Anybody got that or knows who its by ?
Ralf can shred way better than josh
Wonderful song and so nostalgic. I favourited this and used it on my channel this morning to go with my background. Little did I know that as it came to an end your words would so echo my own opinion. What a coincidence – well said and what a charming video.
I remember hearing this on Rolf’s Canadian TV show in about 1976; again the parody verse ended a little differently:
Bits of garbage mixed among
Little things that dogs have done.
One scraggly rose barely poking from its vine.
For they’ve all downed their tools
While they read their Union Rules
In an English country garden.
I’va always loved this song!
Haha sylosis- Teras solo
How many bastards earn there buck in an english country garden?
ill tell you now of some that i know and those i miss im sure you’ll pardon,
Politicians and industrialists!
Bankers, bent scientists,
chief constables, generals,
all the gentry and their brats,
we’ll dance on the wall when the bastards fall,
in an English country garden!
Love it. Thanks for posting.
